September 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the U.S. Department of Energy has left unchanged the forecast of average daily oil production in Azerbaijan for 2026 in the September 2026 Short-Term Energy Outlook.

According to the updated data, country’s average oil production is expected to reach 550,000 b/d this year.

Based on the forecast, production is expected to reach 540,000 b/d in the 3rd and 4th quarters of the year.

In 2025, the average daily production of liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan was 570,000 barrels (in the 1st and 2nd quarters - by 570,000 barrels, and in the 3rd and 4th quarters - by 560,000 barrels).
